Nopparat Rajathanee Hospital, a participant in the Quali-Dec (Safe Delivery) research project in Bangkok, recently celebrated the successful participation of another couple in their “Birth Companion” program. Ratana Chamroeun and Kanitha Sat, a Cambodian couple, welcomed a healthy baby with the support of the program, which allows fathers to actively participate in the labor process.
The “Birth Companion” program aims to promote safe and smooth natural births by allowing fathers to provide emotional and physical support to mothers during labor. The hospital staff praised the program’s continued success and thanked the medical team for their dedication to its sustainable implementation.
Additionally, the Quali-Dec Project in Thailand is expanding its reach to include participants from neighboring countries, allowing them to join the Labour Companionship program.
