Quali-Dec team meets the Catalan Society of Obstetricians in Barcelona

Invited by the Catalan Society of Obstetricians, the Quali-Dec team took part in their information day on February 23, 2024 in Barcelona, bringing together over 300 obstetricians, gynecologists and midwives to present the Quali-Dec project based on the Robson Classification.

The QUALI-DEC research project aims to reduce the number of non-medically justified caesarean sections by providing pregnant women, their families and healthcare professionals with tools to help them make informed choices about the most appropriate mode of delivery.

The WHO recommends the Robson classification as a global reference for monitoring and evaluating the practice of caesarean sections in hospitals.

Presentations, demonstrations, and discussions with healthcare professionals make up this event, which is beating a record attendance to honor the arrival of the international Quali-Dec team.
